We've been home now for a year and a half.
What can I say.
It's been good. It's been hard. It's been busy.
Lydia has blossomed into a darling 3 1/2 year old girl. She's smart and so much fun. She loves to swim. She knows her ABC's. She loves all things princess. She is great at puzzles.
Sofia is a tenderhearted and joyful 2 1/2 year old. What she loves most in life is her big sister. She also loves her Bear Bear and her Mommy and Papi. Sometimes I hear her in her crib in the morning just repeating the phrase "Fa fa (that's Sofia), Sissy, Mommy, Papi, Fa fa...."
Who could have imagined 2 years ago that we would all be together, so happy, so bonded, so much a family. It was worth every painful moment of waiting and wondering.
My sweet girls, someday when you read this, may you know that you mommy and Papi (and your heavenly Father) fought hard to bring you home.
God has great and wonderful plans for you both..
We love you SO much...
Mommy and Papi
(PS Please forgive the typos and poor grammar in this blog. When I was keeping this account it never entered my mind that we might print it out some day for you to read.)
